Rev. Gregory L. Fleck has played an active role in substance abuse recovery ministries for many years. Being raised in a minister’s home, he realized early on the challenges associated with ministry, and was witness to many different counseling situations. Through his own life experiences, Rev. Fleck is equipped with unique perspectives into the lives of substance abusers, and the Christian principles that are most effective in helping them. Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to recovery, New Creation Foundation (now New Creation Restoration Centers) was born. Rev. Fleck is an ordained minister with the Independent Assemblies and a Certified Faith-Based Clinical Counselor through IIFBC.

After 30 years in the corporate sector, Lisa left her position to join her husband and fulfill the call on her life to minister to women.  It is her passion helping women find an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that drives her to challenge women not to settle for the ordinary.  To find, in Christ, the fulfillment of true love and forgiveness.

Lisa is an ordained minister with Independent Assemblies and a Certified Faith-Based Clinical Counselor through IIFBC.

Cliff came to New Creation Restoration Centers in 2015 after a loss in his life sent him into a tailspin. He threw a 20-year sobriety to the wind and stepped back into alcohol and drugs. He thanks God and the pastors at New Creation for helping him restore family relationships, and build a solid foundation on Jesus Christ. God has blessed Cliff with the skills and knowledge of building, so that he may pass them on to the men of New Creation to use in their new life with Jesus.

Cliff now serves as Vocation Coordinator, mentoring and teaching skills as he oversees the remodeling crews and general facility maintenance.

Austyn was born and raised in Tyler, Texas, to an amazing family. After losing his dad unexpectedly at the age of six, he lived his life suffering under hurt and confusion well into his teens. Restless and distracted, he dropped out of school and turned to drugs.

He got married but addiction had taken hold and the marriage only lasted a few years. Homeless, stealing to support his addiction and without hope, he found himself in a mental health facility. That was where he decided he had been evading God long enough. Psalm 139:7, “Where can I go from your spirit? Or, where can I flee from your presence?” God had been chasing him down, even when he believed there was no hope for him.

Austyn came to New Creation in April 2022 lost, broken, without hope, and certain that his life was over.

But God…

Today, after graduating and interning for a short time, Austyn is the Gideon House Residential Coordinator and Lawn Care Supervisor. Serving men that are coming in broken, hurt, confused and without hope. God has transformed, restored, and healed all the broken parts of Austyn’s life.

Jim Marshall was raised in Sulphur Springs, Texas, by an abusive, alcoholic father after his mother left him at 13 months old. He left in his teens to live with other family. After finishing high school, he joined the US Army and spent time overseas. After returning to the US, he married and had two beautiful children.

Upon completing his service to the Army he moved his family back to East Texas, driving trucks until beginning his career as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. 
Towards the end of his career, following his divorce and his children’s graduation, he began experiencing a “midlife crisis” and wanted to be “young again”. He found himself trapped in an addiction to methamphetamines, eventually leading to possession charges, arrest and incarceration.

Jim came to New Creation Restoration Center, and with God’s help, he has been able to rebuild his life on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and learned to be content “being old” again.

Upon completion of the men’s residential program and serving as an intern for a period of time, Jim accepted the position of Intake & Education Coordinator.

It is now his mission to help others escape the same struggles he faced by guiding them toward a relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Shelbie was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO to a military family.  At the age of 15, she began a 33-year drug addiction. Shelbie became a mother yet continued in her life of addiction. She became estranged from all three of her children.

“BUT GOD”

Shelbie’s struggle with addiction ended at the age of 48 when she had an encounter with Christ. Shelbie entered a one-year, faith-based program in San Antonio to help change her path of destructive behavior. After graduating from this program, she began to realize her deep desire and passionate calling to help other women find freedom in Jesus Christ. The Lord completely restored the relationships of Shelbie and her three children and seven beautiful grandchildren. Today Shelbie is a servant leader in women’s Restoration ministry

Alyssa Moreno was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and is the oldest of seven siblings. She has been surrounded by faith and community from a young age, including spending two years at a Christian children’s home. In high school, Alyssa served as a peer counselor, where she began developing a heart for walking alongside others through difficult seasons.

Although she had a strong faith background, Alyssa struggled with depression for many years. Following the loss of her fiancé, she experienced a season of deep grief that ultimately led her to the doors of New Creation Restoration Center. In January 2025, Alyssa entered the program as a student, where she encountered not only healing and restoration but also a renewed and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. God met her in her darkest places and began restoring what sorrow had taken. What once felt like unbearable loss slowly became a testimony of redemption.

Alyssa continued as an intern and felt called to remain at New Creation; where she supports residents with compassion, structure, and hope rooted in her own testimony of transformation.

Alyssa’s life is anchored in Mark 8:35: “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.” Surrendering the life she once tried to control became the very thing that set her free. Today, Alyssa is passionate about walking alongside others as they discover the same freedom and new life in Jesus Christ that she has found.
